Elucidate Psychology consists of a team of psychologists with postgraduate qualifications in the areas of clinical neuropsychology, clinical psychology and organisational psychology.
All our practitioners are engaged in ongoing professional development to ensure our clinic is culturally safe and LGBTQIA+ inclusive.

Dr Lei Gryffydd
Director and Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr Lei (they/them) specialises in the assessment and management of neurocognitive conditions, including ADHD and Autism. They are passionate about providing high-quality and inclusive care.
Dr Bronwyn Coward

Dr Bronwyn (she/her) specialises in neuropsychological assessments and interventions for individuals of all ages with acquired or developmental neurocognitive conditions.

Dr Lei Gryffydd
Director and Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr Lei (they/them) is a senior clinical neuropsychologist and founder of Elucidate Psychology. Their approach has been described as warm, gentle, and validating.
Neuropsychological Assessments:
Dr Lei has over ten years experience conducting neuropsychological assessments across the lifespan, including diagnostic assessments to inform treatment, support, and funding applications. They have a special interest in assessing neurodevelopmental conditions (Autism, ADHD, and learning conditions), as well as memory and executive functioning issues. They are passionate about supporting other members of the LGBTQIA+ community with neurocognitive conditions such as ADHD and Autism.
Therapy and Intervention work:
Dr Lei specialises in providing targeted interventions and ongoing support in a range of areas including executive functioning, social communication, learning, and memory. They enjoy assisting individuals in developing effective study skills and improving academic performance, from those in the early stages of their education to advanced levels including PhD/doctoral candidates. They have a trauma-informed approach that incorporates a diverse range of therapeutic modalities and approaches.
Other Services:
Dr Lei conducts WPATH assessments for those seeking gender-affirming treatment. They developed and oversee the various programs at Elucidate Psychology, including peer group programs and therapy assistant programs. Dr Lei also runs executive functioning and study skills groups for neurodivergent individuals.
Supervision:
They are a Board-approved supervisor who provides supervision for psychologists completing the registrar program. They can serve as a primary supervisor for clinical neuropsychology registrars or secondary supervisor for registrars from other areas of endorsement. Dr Lei also provide supervisions to clinicians seeking to develop knowledge and expertise in their areas of specialisation.
Background:
Dr Lei completed a Bachelor of Arts (psychology and philosophy) at the University of Melbourne, a Post Graduate Diploma (psychology) at Monash University, and a Doctor of Psychology (clinical neuropsychology) at La Trobe University. They have conducted research in the areas of autism, mild traumatic brain injury, memory, and cognition in older adults. Before working in private practice, they performed neuropsychological assessments in various public health settings (inpatient, subacute, rehabilitation, and outpatient) for a wide range of presentations, including neurodevelopmental, neurodegenerative, ABIs (TBI, stroke, etc.), epilepsy, and complex psychiatric conditions.
Availability: Dr Lei works on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Age Groups: Ages 6 and above for neuropsychological assessments and therapy.
Services: Neuropsychological assessments, individual therapy, groups, WPATH assessments and supervision.

Dr Bronwyn Coward
Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr Bronwyn (she/her) is a highly respected senior clinical neuropsychologist with over 15 years of experience working in healthcare and private practice settings.
Neuropsychological Assessments:
Dr Bronwyn specialises in neuropsychological assessments and interventions for individuals with acquired or developmental neurological conditions, including, but not limited to: ADHD, autism, learning conditions, Traumatic Brian Injury, stroke, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease.
Her goal is to provide more than just a diagnosis. Dr Bronwyn’s comprehensive assessments offer a clear understanding of how the brain functions and how specific changes affect daily life. Patients that work with Dr Bronwyn can expect an empathetic, patient-centred approach, where their specific concerns are not only listened to but thoroughly explored. Dr Bronwyn believes in providing clear, actionable insights, allowing patients and their families to better understand the nature of the condition to help guide their next steps.
Supervision:
She is a Board-approved supervisor with extensive experience helping others develop their clinical skills and practice. She provides supervision and consultation to other clinicians, including those undertaking the registrar program for endorsement as a clinical neuropsychologist.
Background:
Dr Bronwyn holds a Bachelor of Science (neuroscience and psychology) with Honors from the University of Melbourne, a Doctor of Psychology (clinical neuropsychology) from Macquarie University and a Global Executive Master of Business Administration from Monash University. Past roles include Head of Psychology at Peninsula Health and Manager of Psychological Services at Epworth Healthcare. She has held appointments as a Clinical Neuropsychologist at Alfred Health, Monash Health, and The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Availability: Dr Bronwyn works on Saturdays.

Ty Tran
Senior Psychologist
Ty (he/him) is a warm and gentle psychologist dedicated to enhancing individuals’ quality of life. He acknowledges the various intersecting factors, such as gender, sexuality, race, religion, and socioeconomic status, that can limit an individual’s ability to access necessities and limit their opportunities in life. Ty strives to understand each client’s unique perspective and considers clients in relation to their psychological and physical well-being, as well as their broader social, cultural, and systemic environment.
ADHD Coaching and Therapy:
Ty specialises in providing ADHD coaching and psychological therapy to individuals at any stage of their journey, whether formally diagnosed or self-identified. His approach is neurodiversity-affirming, client-centred and skills-focussed. He enjoys collaborating with clients to develop their skills and implement strategies to not only manage symptoms but to thrive. Ty works closely with Dr Lei Gryffydd, clinical neuropsychologist, to provide specialised ADHD coaching and therapy.
Other Areas of Expertise:
Ty has extensive experience assisting individuals with employment and work-related challenges, such as career transitions and work-life balance. He enjoys assisting high performers, executives, professionals, and those in high-stress occupations. Additionally, he works with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, anger, substance use, perfectionism, burnout, stress, and low self-esteem. As a father of young children, he also enjoys helping other parents better manage their work and family responsibilities.
Treatment Approach:
Ty employs a client-driven, strengths-based approach that incorporates various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and techniques to support his clients. He tailors his approach to align with the individual’s specific needs and goals. He aims to create a therapeutic space that is validating, respectful, culturally safe and LGBTQIA+ inclusive.
Background:
Ty completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) and Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources) at Monash University before attaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychology (equivalent to Honours) at Deakin University. Subsequently, he earned a Master of Workplace and Employment Law from Monash University, followed by a Master of Organisational Psychology from Deakin University. He has conducted research in the field of industrial/organisational psychology, focusing on topics such as emotional exhaustion and burnout. Additionally, he works as a consultant providing organisational psychological assessments and services.
Availability: Ty sees patients on Saturdays and is accepting new patients.

Lynn Ng
Senior Clinical Psychologist
Lynn (she/her) is a compassionate and dedicated senior clinical psychologist, known for her warmth and genuine care. She fosters a safe and non-judgemental environment where individuals feel supported to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences in depth – creating space for insight, healing, and transformation.
With extensive experience working across the lifespan – from children to older adults – in both community and hospital settings, Lynn is committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful personal growth and emotional wellbeing. She enjoys working with a broad spectrum of presentations, including ADHD, autism, depression, anxiety, attachment difficulties, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges.
Lynn believes in empowering individuals to become advocates for their own wellbeing. By helping individuals harness their strengths, she supports them in enhancing their quality of life and building resilience for the future.
Treatment Approach:
Lynn draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy (ST), and Psychodynamic Therapy, ensuring a flexible and client-centred approach to care. Above all, she is committed to creating a therapeutic space that is inclusive, respectful, and welcoming to all.
Background:
Lynn completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology at Edith Cowan University and subsequently a Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) at James Cook University, Singapore. Driven by her passion for advocacy and amplifying underrepresented voices, she conducted and published research exploring the work experiences of peer support specialists in Singapore – highlighting their unique contributions and challenges within the mental health landscape.
Availability: Lynn consults on Wednesdays and Thursdays. She is also able to provide therapy in Mandarin (conversational).

Support Team
Mai Gryffydd
Clinic Manager and Play Therapist
Mai (they/them) is our Clinic Manager who manages the day-to-day operations of the clinic and supervises the support team. Mai is also an intentional peer support practitioner and play therapist. They are passionate about working with children with neurodevelopmental conditions.
Jessica Goldstein
Therapy Assistant
Jessica (she/her) is a therapy assistant who works with NDIS participants to help implement the strategies and techniques developed by the participant’s treating psychologist. She delivers supports including play therapy under the supervision of Dr Lei Gryffydd. Jessica also helps with administrative duties. Outside of her work at Elucidate Psychology, Jessica is a second-year psychology student at the University of Melbourne.
Olivia Kearney
Therapy Assistant
Olivia (she/her) is a therapy assistant who works with NDIS participants to help implement the strategies and techniques developed by the participant’s treating psychologist. She primarily works with children and adolescents. She delivers supports including play therapy under the supervision of Dr Lei Gryffydd. Olivia also helps with administrative duties. Olivia is currently completing a Bachelor of Psychology/Bachelor of Laws at Australian Catholic University.
